From now on, Get-ContentLibraryItem cmdlet doesn't work until I completely restart my PowerShell shell.
I also observed that this problem does not manifest itself if I skip module import step. Also, module version `11.5.0.14912921` does not have this problem.

Unable to run reports with a Standard license in vRealize Operations 8.1 (78813) - Please assist?
I have installed and configured OPS Manager 8.1 with a standard license and I am having an issue generating any reports. The three vertical dots(vertical ellipsis) are grayed out due to an error on this version. The cause of the error: "This issue is caused by an improper condition set to look for all privileges instead of just the required privileges". To resolve this issue, I need a patch that to be installed. Does anyone know where I can get this patch? Any assistance will be greatly appreciated thank you.

vCenter Converter 6.2.1 Failed resyncs after vCenter rebuild.

I have a strange issue.
I was using VMware vCenter Converter 6.2.1 to migrate a few Windows Server 2012 R2 VMs from one site to another over MPLS. I am using the converter to achieve this as I do not have access to the vCenter/ESXi of the source location. Only the destination.
I ran the migration 2 weeks ago and was running regular sync tasks every few hours.
Last night, we had a network change which caused an outage on the vCenter network and I had to rebuild the vCenter again from scratch. The vCenter was rebuilt with the same hostname, IP address, DC and Cluster config. The only change is the VLAN ID I was converting with intially.
After the rebuild, I tried syncing the VMs, but all of them failed with the error message in the image below. The failure is almost instantly after clicking synchronize. The communication between the source VM, Converter Server, ESXi and vCenter is all verified and no issues were found.
I have migrated around 14 VMs this way and I am stuck with the issue and unable to sync anymore. We have a scheduled downtime in a few days and converting the machines again is not an option at the moment.
I am attaching the log bundles from a few jobs that failed.
Please advise.

VMware Horizon Client - Options/Hamburger Missing
I have one user that has Horizon Client 5.42 installed on their computer that is running Windows 7 and he no longer has the Options Pull-Down when connected and also does not have the hamburger when first connecting to Horizon Client.
Is there a keystroke command or setting to get this back?

Confirm "Up" status of Cloud Connectors
In previous versions of the WS1 console there was a screen which shows the current "Up" status of all cloud connectors in your environment. After the 1912 release that options seems to have either moved or disappeared. How can I easily confirm the status of a cloud connector and verify it is communicating with the console? I need this option to test after a data center move this coming weekend.

How to get ESXi Host Name within running VM
Is there any possibility to get ESXi host name within running windows VM via installed VMware Tools or any other way. Let us suppose I am working in a windows VM and I just want to know on which ESXi host or host version this VM is running. I googled and found below but this is not working.

Failure registering vCenter - Endpoint test failed.
When trying to register vCenter, I get the following error

Microsoft Teams on Non-Persistent - UEM + App Vols
Has anyone installed Teams MSI or EXE on a non-persistent environment?
As I see it there are 4 potential options,
1. Install on Master image
2. Install as app stack
3. User install on Writable UIA Vol
4. Thin App
I have tried the first three and every time i log off and log back in Teams is gone and I haven't had success yet on an App stack or on the Master image. I wanted to start up a discussion on this so we could get this as stable as possible. I also am running windows 7 and need to install Workplace Joined to get the VM's in Azure AD as Hybrid Azure AD joined.

ESXi7 check integrity of datastore?
I had a power failure while restoring a VM to a my ESX server. Is there a way to somehow scan or check the datastore's integrity within the vSphere web client? I don't see any options in there..

Static cost for cpu and ram
Is there a way to set static cost per cpu and gig ram? I can get derived costs using the allocation or utilization method by updating or modifying cost drivers. However our cost model spreadsheet has a few calculations that don't line up with the cost settings options. We are on VCPP for licensing, we are a public sector customer and sometimes have to charge self funded units a different rate than state funded units, we use a 10 year depreciation on some datacenter gear, etc etc. The vRops costing functionality is ok but not enough to replace VrB. Our disk tier rates can be static. The public cloud rates that we download are essentially static. Why can't our private cloud rates be the same?
I've looked at the excellent pricing article VM Pricing with vRealize Automation 8.1 and vRealize Operations 8.1 - VMware Cloud Management by @bgordon but I don't want to maintain VrA just for a flat calculation.at this time.

Hello community,
Add a database workflow fails with error:
com.vmware.o11n.plugin.database.DatabaseException: java.sql.SQLException: No suitable driver found for jdbc:postgresql://XXXXXXXXXX (Dynamic Script Module name : addDatabase#8)
when I'm trying to register PostgreSQL database. I'm running vRO 8.1.0.
Somebody forgot to pack a PostgreSQL library, it is similar story to MySQL and it is missing by deign, or I've messed up something?

vRA 8.1 How to Parse JSON in Blueprints
Does anyone have examples of how to parse and use JSON input within a Blueprint? I have a JSON payload that will be sent as an input to a blueprint, but I have been unsuccessful in parsing it correctly. I have tried to pass it in as an 'object' input and a 'string' input, but it always seems to come in as a string regardless.
I did see the JSON functions in the expression documentation, but I have not been able to get them to work correctly. I always just end up getting the expression itself passed as a string to the property. Does anyone have an example of using these?

errors reported in wait-task
I am using below script to get service information from the windows guest os using invoke-vmscript but for few vms the credentials which i provided in the script are not valid so for those vms i am not getting any error output or vmname with blank result in output $report.
So is it possible to write the error output while using wait-task because when I look at the powershell console the wait-task is displaying the error 'Failed to authenticate with the guest operating system using the supplied credentials' but in the $task.Result.ScriptOutput is not showing up the authentication failed error and even $task.Result.VM.Name is not showing up the vm name.
I am ok for few vms if authentication failed or any other error but expecting to write that error in $report for those vmnames.

vRA 8.1 - way to increase session timout limit when logged in via web interface?
I'm looking for an option to increase the global session timeout limit for all users, when logging in to the vRA web interface. I could not find an option anywhere, the only way to do this for a single user would be to acquire an access token from the authentication API and set the expiration there, however I want to set the value globaly.
Maybe this is something done in the vIDM management?
Also getting not getting redirected to the appliance url (tenant-1.domain.loc) instead of the child tenant url (tenant-1.org.domain.loc) after each automatic logoff would be nice :/
Edit: I still don't know where the setting in the appliance is, but when using an LB, you can set the timeout there in your application profile.

VMWARE Fusion for MS-DOS (File sharing)
Hello, guys.
I have a problem sharing any files between main Mac OS and MS-DOS inside.
As I've used VMWARE in Windows7, I installed MS-DOS in VMWARE Fusion For Mac.
However, it is impossible for me to share any files with main OS. Even though I've tried to control the file sharing option, I wasn't able to connect the inside of MS-DOS.
Please let me now any information has something to do with this problem. Thank you.
